National Mental Health Week!!
- should be every day!

Taking care of our mental health is not something that should happen only for 7 days out of a possible 365 or 6. It is something that should happen everyday.

So how can you take care of your mental health easily?

Here are some daily basic ground rules – whether you consider yourself to be in good or poor mental health.

  • Take time to breathe slowly and deeply.
  • Observe what is around you (without judgement).
  • Slow down the way that you run your internal chatter (there is always more time).
  • Look for the things that are ‘right’, right now – at any time, every day.
  • Keep yourself well hydrated.
  • Eat nourishing food and snacks.
  • Take breaks from your computer/screen.
  • Move about more, take more exercise.
  • Smile more.
  • Have a chat with someone – (a Colleague, someone you’re sitting next to, or a friend)
  • Praise and acknowledge yourself, for doing what you do.
  • At night - put your phone on airplane mode, open your bedroom window, allow yourself an hour to relax before bed.
  • Sleep well.
Be Present and change your world!
